ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace (PCJP) (now the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development) and Catholic Relief Services convened a three-day Impact Investing conference at the Vatican on June 26-28, 2016 titled “Making the Year of Mercy a Year of Impact for the Poor”. The conference provided an opportunity for participants to explore how to harness the power of impact capital, learn from successful social entrepreneurs and sector thought leaders, and lay the foundation for catalyzing private investment to serve the poor and vulnerable.
